How well do you know the student academically？
在学业上，您对该生了解多少？
In what years did you teach the student？
您是在哪几个年纪的时候教过该生？
How large is the class？
班上一共有多少人？
What courses？
在哪些课程中，您曾给予该生指导？
Briefly describe your course. It is especially helpful to know what texts are used and if the students are grouped by ability？
请简单描述一下您所教授的课程，使用什么教材？学生是否是依照程度分班？
How accurately does the student read and understand what he or she has read？
根据你的观察，该生的理解和阅读能力如何？
How well does the student write in comparison with other students whom you have taught？ Please be specific about areas of strength and weakness.
和其他学生相比，该生学习能力如何？请清楚告诉我们他在写作上的强项和弱点。
How well does the student accept advice or criticism？
对于师长的批评和指导，该生能虚心接受吗？
What are the first three words that come to mind to describe this student？

PS.有的学校还会提供“个人推荐信表格”（ Personal Recommendation) 让推荐填写，表格中常见的问题如下：

Plesase indicate the level of talent and commitment he or she demonstrates.
请描述他或者她 在某个领域的天资和成就。
